Now they have completed delivery to squadron service, what is the
status of the Old Dalby test track and the 25 kV ?
I've not heard of ot being used for any other 25 kV testing (not that
there is much else needs such testing ...

In some of the earlier postings on this topic the suggestion was made to put
a small deisel engine in the Driving trailer at the (usually) London end of
these trains, either to supply auxillary power for the aircon etc or some
motive ...

Plenty said about the problems on the ECML on Thursday - but not about
what brought the job to a stand in the first place.
Apart from the obvious 'wires down' - what actually caused this? I heard
a passenger on the TV ...
