There has been a lot of speculation about the cause of the collapse
but little information about the timing of it.
It appears a northbound train passed through the tunnel (without

This was quite a significant incident. It is not just that the
building of this 'cut and cover' failed. The cut was probably over
100 tears ago, the cover is this year. It failed when trains were
running. Two trains passed ...

If i am correct, this train was going to work WCML services and have
tilt capability. Would it have been a pendolino anyway or would it have
