Leekbrook is still there as it is some years since trains ran on it.I
think it is about 8 years since a weekly train carrying sand(?) went

I travelled today from Luton (originally St Albans) to Derby and back.
On both occasions, there were no ticket checks on the HST, and I
noticed guards with orange jackets on board. Apparently, MML guards
were on strike again ...

Full marks to Chiltern for actually running a through London-Birmingham
service. In the circumstances 2:50 London to Moor Street isn't bad, IMHO.
Can you imagine Central doing something similar in these circumstances?
