The 0800 Newcastle to King's Cross today ran up the down fast from Hitchin
North to Woolmer Green, including a call at Stevenage platform 3. First
time I've done that. (Engineering work on the up slow.) Much more sensible
than bustitution!

Thats the score in South Wales today. Parts have been robbed from 411 to put
408 back in service to day following its accident damage at Newport last
