improvements compared to the previous one.

to extend the range of a ticket with an excess fare.

I am looking for somewhere to commute to London from. My criteria is:
1. Be served by high frequency air-conditioned trains.
2. Low crime rate.
3. 24 hour service (not including night buses).
Woking seems ideal on items ...

The worst trains must be the Class 142 Pacers that go between Chester
and Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport, a huge contrast to the nice
smooth quiet 175s that travel between Llandudno and Chester and
Manchester Piccadilly ...
