Les Moon, the landlord of this fine establishment, is retiring on
Tuesday. He's keeping hold of the pub, but leasing it to a tennant. The
new landlord currently works at The Hunters Inn, Poole-in-Wharfedale, I
believe. ...

Had a pint of Adnam's Flagship Ale in the Ancient Mariner at Old
Hunstanton . Lovely beer but I wondered if it was the old Adnam's
Extra in a new guise. Same ABV (4.3%), same colour and from memory

There are still some great old-fashioned pubs in the town centre, but

Went in the Railway on Thursday for the first time for ages and we were
pleasantly surprised by the turnaround.
Unlike the last visit (6 months or so ago) all the beers were in fine
fettle and the Sunshine in particular ...
