I have to re-attach a piece of plastic which is the pivot for 2 pieces
of plastic to hinge. It's like a plastic rivet. Unfortunately the top
of the 'rivet' has come off (top is about 2cm across) and needs to be
glued back ...

Flymo Multi trim- problem

Yesterday my Flymo was working OK but suddenly it began to run slow and
there was a smell of burning. I stopped using it immediately.
Is this a brushes problem? Should I strip I down and have a look?

Reduced flow rate after fitting mixer bath tap

Having just replaced separate hot and cold bath taps with a mixer tap,
I'm finding that the flow rate has been reduced, almost as if the
mixer tap wasn't fully opening. Presumably this is a symptom of a
defective tap rather ...

I noticed a hammer drill offered for sale in Aldis today.
It has an SDS-type tool chuck but describes itself as being a
pneumatic drill.
However, it is also electically powered.
Is anyone here familiar with this tool ...

customers exsisting lining paper, which had been painted a couple of
times. The bubbles that are coming up and in the lining paper beneath
not the wallpaper ...

I live in a 1960s semi and we have always had loads of condensation on
the windows, worst in the winter. We replaced the old aluminium
windows / doors with UPVC and while this has improved slightly we still
get misted up ...
