Hi all, just recently the central heating in our house stopped working.
It would appear that the pump is acting up, as the boiler (Glowworm
Ultimate 50BF) still heats the hot water, and the room temperature
thermostat still ...

We have Britony combi boiler and just recently the boiler has been venting
water out of the relief pipe outside, I have to top up the pressure each
day, (down to .5 bar), the radiators also occasionally make a bubbling noise ...

them because they had no washing instructions label on them. They said they
thought there was rubber in the fabric and it would dissolve and gum their

I've ruled out metal frames as they're just not aesthetically
pleasing.
So, the choice is either uPVC or wood. uPVC is maintenance free but
looks a bit crap...
