Any thoughts or advice on the makes of laminate flooring to avoid, and
why ? or alternatively, which ones can be recommended ? We're talking
about ripping up old carpeting the hall, and replacing it with laminate ...

Have raised slate tiled floor, need recessed cover say 200mm x 200mm into
which I can put a piece of slate tile so cover is unobtrusive. Where can I
get one? What are they called? Build Center et al websites are grade A

not sure if this is the best NG for this, .... these rechargeable
spotlights, e.g. 3 million candle-power & upwards, the text on the box
suggests that due to the amount of heat generated, they should only be used
'intermittently' ...
