Does the horn have to be a certain loudness or is it enough that it makes a
sound?
Reason: my Volvo's got two honkers but it sounds like there's a duck sitting

Well partly anyway. The EGR valve is being held open by something according
to the chap at the garage. He's disabled it temporarily and lo, all is fine.
It's not a stuck valve because removing the power to it and the fast ...

Is there a technique of getting the wire within the linkeage arm easily
around the cog? I've just spent two hours trying to do it and I'm SURE
there is probably a simple way of doing it but the logic of it escapes
me!

The backlight has gone out from the outside temp display I assume it is a
single bulb seperate from the dash speedo lights etc.How do i get at it to
replace?

Vauxhall interior map lights

V reg Vauxhall Vectra. Is the small brown wire that feeds the interior map
lights switched or fused ( apart from the light fitting itself).
Also is the diagnostic plug under the handbrake OBD-2 compatible.

The tyre's were set at a tyre dealer at 35lb
Then I tried a digital gauge from Argos which is incorporated in a 12V pump
from Argos.
..The Argos pump reads 33lbs, a friends digital meter read 36.5lb, a
difference of 3.5lb ...

Hi, I just noticed some strange noise come out from the engine(CG10 1.0
16v).
The engine is fine for low revs, you cannot hear any knocking.
When the revs goes up, there are some knocking come from the engine
