I need to join 2 pieces of breather pipe together. I tried looking for a
plastic hose joiner at my local motor shoppe, and found some plastic ones
with ribs on (just what I wanted). The only sizes they sell tho are 13mm &
8mm ...

OK, so I do have a DE engine - bloody thing.
It's due its cambelts soon - I've had the current ones checked and they
are showing no signs of damage or wear that's obvious to the naked eye,
so I'll change them in 5000 miles ...

Someone's offered me 4 x 175/70 13 tyres on wheels from a MK3 Astra,
5mm min. tread depth, for 50 ONO. Will they fit on my old J reg.

I had new tyres fitted 3 about months ago. Three of the tyres hold
air, but I recently discovered that a rear tyre went down to 8 psi.
I pumped it up again, but the tyre only looses air at an extremely
