I have sprayed a panel on my 1999 Vectra which has a metallic finish . I
am not sure whether to polish the area first and the apply the lacquer
or to apply the lacquer and then polish the area. Any advice most

dont fall off if they are on properly.The last time I went to have tyre
replaced I noticed the guy that was put on the job just pulled a long thin

I have a Ford Ka on which the revs are falling slowly when changing gear.

Bonnet hinge

Fiat Brava
The ns lever from the hinge to the bonnet fixing is bent slightly forcing
the bonnet away from the wing. Can the lever be removed from the hinge
fixing and replaced with a decent one?

and its showing that the gearbox oil pressure sender is faulty. I`ve got the
new sender to fit but am concerened as the oil top up procedure for this

Whine from front wheel

After about 40 miles and at about 40mph, an intermittent whine can be heard
from the front, probably the off-side. Press the brake and the whine stops.
Accelerate and brake at the same time (so to keep the speed the same) ...

Hi, the radiator cooling fan on my 1996 astra doesn't come on anymore. I
reckon it must be the fan motor or the sensor in the radiator (fuse is ok).
Whats the best way to find which is faulty? Could i unplug the wiring from
