The Haynes manual says that on bodies with independent front suspension the
front axle beam must be lowered by 100mm. Is this really necessary for a
2.5D and a MT75 gearbox? Sounds a real fag if I have to.

distributor of an 8 cylinder engine. (Its a Volvo Aquamatic 260hp boat
engine which is now nearly 25 years old but still going strong, fingers

Something shorted in the back of my Ford Laser GL ( same as Mazda 323)
I think it was the back window wiper motor.
The wire got so hot it melted the plastic insulation covering and did
the same to the other wires around it ...

There is a bar underneath the Rover 218 VVC coupe model that links the
botton of the gear stick to the gearbox.
Ours has worn massively at the universal joint which connects to the
gearbox. I've beeb told a new bar is needed ...

Mk1 Mondeo 1.8 GLX on a "P" reg, (EEC IV) 90k miles.
Runs fine but really doesn't like doing 30mph in 4th. It's like it
kangaroos, it misses, then picks up etc, weird.
It's absolutely fine doing 35 or 25 but at an indicated ...
