Hi
When I got my Ford Fiesta and a third party stereo (Last August) I decided I
wouldn't pay for an engineer to install it but rather install it myself.
It was all good and I managed to work out how it all is meant to work ...

Hi
My Pegueot 306 1997 "R" reg has started doing something weird. When I
depress the clutch pedal the brake lights (left, right, and middle) flick on
and then off.
At first I thought maybe a bit of debris was trapped ...

Folks,
I own a 1997 Vauxhall Astra TDS 1.7 diesel. (Isuzu engine). With
210,000 miles on the clock I am expecting some problems....
The engine is fine with the exception of starting first thing in the
morning ...

Just checked out the new B&Q here,(they've opened a few shops in Ireland
now). Anyway noticed a normal 12v H3 bulb for 20 EURO!! I havn't seen them
for sale at retail outlets, but although admittedly trade prices, I buy H3 ...

Quick Tyre Query

Need to replace all 4 tyres on my Rover 214SEi (1995 N-reg).
Handbook says to use 185/55-15 V rating.
Spoke to a tyre place who say I can put on 195/50-15s on H or V rating as
these are much cheaper.
I usually use Firestones ...

know what oil is ok to top up with, Vauxhall say any semi synthetic oil but

I have a 1993 Mitsubishi Spacewagon with the 2.0l petrol engine that was
also used in the Galant amongst others.

Can anyone recommend some tyres that last longer than the ones I have. On my
Peugeot I have Pirelli P6000 which are good tyres with plenty of grip but
seem to wear down quite fast after about 15000 miles, or is that about the
right ...
