Transport for London (TfL) is switching its traffic enforcement systems
from analogue to digital so it can use more mobile cameras to monitor
the capital's streets. As part of the change they are going to implement
automatic numberplate recognition software.

National Express funfare oddity

Can anyone explain the fares I've been quoted for a funfare? On the same
bus, with the same endpoints, the NX planner quotes me:
One person: GBP2.00
(Non amendable, non-refundable)
outward fare: GBP1.00 (funfare)
return fare: GBP1.00 (funfare)
Two people: GBP16.00
(Non amendable, non-refundable)

Routemaster Heritage Routes

I am visiting London shortly would like to ride on a routemaster, I know
there are a few heritage routes available but not knowing London, only
familar with certain areas I am not sure where to get one. Does anyone know

Headlights on Buses

I know some companies have a policy of using headlights all the time, what
is the point. Most of the time the headlights are that dim, you see the bus
before the lights. Constant use delvelopes a resistance and the dimmer they
go . More fuel will be used as well, more strain on the alternater, bulbs
will go, batte ...

You may wish to know that the New Forest Tour starts this weekemd. With a
bit of luck, both bike trailers will be in use.
This is an excellent way for cyclists to get away from Lyndhurst or
Brockenhurst, into the Forest proper, to cycle across unspoilt countryside.
