I was playing with outbound calls on voipcheap.com using the Twinkle
softphone. I noticed a problem to several destinations (UK and abroad)...
if I dial out with voipcheap to a PSTN line and the PSTN user hangs up,
voipcheap/twinkle doesn't notice.
For a test I rang my BT line. I got bored waiting more than ...

VOIP Programs issues - constantly hanging up with VISTA

Hello everyone, The VOIP Programs from BETAMAX, VOIPCHEAP, VOIPSTUNT,
12VOIP, JUSTVOIP, etc., keep hanging up after a few seconds at times
after a call has been initiated. I am using VISTA Home Premium OS. Even
if there is only one program retained open it still happens. I have
already made all the programs back ...

056 code lookup

A friend of mine was calling an 056 number with her VOIPcheap account. She
was getting a lot of echo and so I thought there must be another way... Is
there a way to find out which VSP is behind the VOIP number? I looked it up
at e164.org and there was nothing listed, and magsys.co.uk's codelook just
said 'VOIP' ...

I am running Asterisk (1.4.x) and have a dial plan like
exten => 123456,1,Answer()
exten => 123456,2,Voicemail(Sip/345.........
..................
And I have for a specific number
(And I can see the number shows when the person call : 55555 )
I add

I'm a user of a spa3000 for a year now in combi with a linksys wrt54g
router, and it is working fine here.
But i installed a spa3000 last week at my sister's place, and the connection
is bad. She has a speedtouch 580 router/modem.
