Hello all i have set up my astyerisk@home system using also a zaptel
telephony card for my landline, when i call in i can hear my music on
hold fine and extensions ring but i cannot dialout either using ZAP
(my landline) or SIP
the settings are

Sipgate, PAP2 and answer machine

Hi All
Just discovered that when my answer machine picks up a Sipgate call it
isn't registered by my PAP2 adapter therefore I don't hear the answer
machine "Leave a message" ...err message.
Is there any way to fix this?
Any info would be much appreciated.

Panasonic Globarange - any good?

VOIP, the Panasonic Globarange is a possibility. The Panasonic UK
website doesn't list them at all but quite a few retailers have them.

I've recently, finally, got my PAP2 set up properly for making/receiving
calls using Sipgate. Everything seems to be working fine.
Does the Linksys PAP2 handle 1471 type functions, where the last caller
number will be spoken to you?

Sipgate - dialled an incorrect number error

When I place a call to my sipgate number from a mobile I get the standard
operator "You have dialled an incorrect number" message.
- The number is correct, I've treble checked it.
- I have credit in my sipgate account.
- PAP2 adapter says it connected to sipgate.
