2 line 2 socket ATA
Sat, 19 Jan 2008 12:03:57 -0800
Is there an ATA into which I can plug 2 phones each with their own number and
completely separate from each other. I've read various sales leaflets online
but don't know enough to decided if they do what I want. I think a Linksys
SPA2002 will do this but am not sure.
Failing that, is it possible to plug 2 ATAs, ...

I use VoipDiscount for all my outgoing calls and up till now have used
VoipTalk for my incoming calls. The settings in my Linksys ATA are such that
it registers with VoipTalk but not with VoipDiscount.
VoipDiscount have just started providing incoming numbers but obviously if I

Wed, 16 Jan 2008 23:46:14 GMT
I've been having trouble dialling an overseas company's voice conferencing

of them get through. Finally I tried a standard BT line and connected every

BT Broadband Talk SIP
14 Jan 2008 22:25:07 GMT
Someone here a week or so ago kindly told me how to "dial" a BT home
hub from a SIP phone. I tried this today, having just found out the
hubs IP, and it works! Thank you whoever it was.
So my second question is the other way around. How does one do it
*from* a home hub?
Third question. The other week my f ...

BT Converse 1400 2-Line phone
Mon, 14 Jan 2008 16:52:49 -0000
I have one of these phones (bought at a car boot sale!) with one line
connected to BT and the other to my VoIP ATA - and it's brilliant when it
works.
However it has a tendancy for the LCD display to disappear or collapse to a
single line, and needs a lot of judicious massaging to restore it.
I would like ...

I am using Linksys SPA-3102 like this. I have a GSM gateway connected to the
PSTN port, when I dial the GSM gateway from my mobile the SPA-3102 answers
it and then gives me a dial tone using my VOIP account, I can then make
calls from my mobile through my VOIP account, (Great I hear you say) The
problem is if ...
