Orange Sim-only deals not 3G?

Spoke to Orange cs today, expressing interest in their various 'animal'
SIM-ONLY deals and PAYG SIM-ONLYdeals.
I have an unlocked 3G phone and naturally want to a 3G sim in it - but
(lucky I asked) cs confirmed that unless I bought a phone from Orange they
could only issue a 2G SIM. They can't provide a 3G ...

I understand that Sony Ericsson has produced a phone which is capable

Sorry it goes on a bit but stick with us, need some advice on this.
Facts.
We have had a T-mobile account for 6 years with 5 phones.
We were due some upgrades so asked T-mobile is they could somehow supply a
Nokia E90.
To my astonishment and hats off to T-mobile they agreed to get me an E90 v ...

What risks are there buying a PAYG SIM for the 3 network on eBay? As
they are so cheap can it be assumed the sellers are basically phone
dealers that need to get rid of them because have been split from
phones which are then unlocked and sold-on?
At least one seller has a warning about possible clawback - are ...

Screen size on phones

I have been looking at the Nokia 2630 and the Samsung E250
The specs say that they both have screen sizes of 128 x 160.
But the Samsung looks a lot bigger to me. Am I right?
I prefer the Samsung, but I have been told that these slide phone
