Can anyone please confirm the following, i am on a 3 contract at the
moment and it expires on 31st July at what point can i request a PAC
code and move to another network ? I beleive the PAC is valid for 30
days, do i have to wait till my contract has technically expired or
can i do it now, in the last mont ...

Free Mobile internet on Vodafone

It was announced recently that Vodafone is adding 500Mb per month of mobile
internet data free of charge with its ¡ê25+ per month plans - yet on the Voda
website data services as still shown as chargeable. Does anyone understand
what is happening?

3 Mobile Broadband on 6680

Hi,
Does anyone have any idea of the settings in order to get my 6680 working as
a modem for this service? Short of saying it can be done the 3 shop staff
were useless; Live Chat were polite but clueless and I daren't ring their
customer service lines!
Needless to say I've struggled to find anything on the ...

Using Cingular & T-mobile in Florida

I have a tri-band phone (6230i) and last time I was in Florida I had
trouble using a Cingular sim and I had to use a T-mobile sim instead.
The Cingular sim would make calls but not receive them, however it
worked fine in a quad-band phone. I guessed they were using part of
the 850mhz (?) band for controlling cal ...

I am doing some phone testing and while dial-up works fine (with some
phone models better than with others) I find the GPRS feature next to
useless.
The data rate is good, as advertised, but most connections fail to
connect, or fail to get an IP or DNS allocated. ...

Cold calling

My T mobile contract expires in another month or so and I have now had
2 cold calling calls offering me new contracts.
How do these get the data?? and does the Data Protection Act have
something to do with all this?? - ie protect my data?? ...
