It all goes to prove that if you don't ask, you don't get. Well done. I
may swallow my pride and try my luck on the customer services lottery.
Knowing my luck though ...

Router can connect to broadband but cannot ping external addresses
Mon, 23 Jun 2008 19:26:08 +0100
A customer has a problem with her ADSL connection. It worked until a few
days ago but now, although the router can still connect and is given valid
WAN IP, gateway and DNS server addresses by the ISP (BT Broadband), she
cannot access any web sites - pinging any site either by domain name or IP
fails with "cann ...

I'm in a similar position. I appear to have used up 1p of my ¡ê10 somehow,

Just a word of warning to anyone buying a computer from Mesh (or any other
computer supplier that bundles Bullguard Security).
I bought a new computer from Mesh for my daughter to replace her old one.
Yesterday, I spent all day setting it up, but couldn't get Internet Explorer
or Outlook Express to work.

Anyone know reliable POP3 and auth SMTP email provider?
Sun, 22 Jun 2008 22:24:03 +0100
Hi,
Based on my previous thread about friend going with dodgy broadband
company. I initially set them up with Gmail, however, there is mail
on the Gmail server which is not always popping into their Outlook
client.
Does anyone know a free or cheap email provider that doesn't require
your own domain, and pro ...

3 payg activation problem
Sun, 22 Jun 2008 09:51:03 +0100
I have recently purchased a 3 USB modem for payg. I have registered my
account with them and set up a credit card. My account then showed ¡ê10
credit but I can find no way of using that credit to purchase 30 days
of mobile broadband. I therefore assumed since I was showing ¡ê10
credit, this had activated my 30days. ...
