Sat, 24 May 2008 08:25:13 +0100
Does anyone know...
I don't currently have a USB printer. I do though have a printer on my
10/100 wired LAN. Would this printer work with it plugged into one of
the four 10/100 ports of the 606?
I currently have installed a Netgear WG834G, which has a wifi access
point and this is used for various PC's aro ...

Fri, 23 May 2008 01:56:56 +0100
I've been a customer of Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange for several years (ok I'm
lazy and can't be bothered changing..!) but yesterday I had a strange
experience.
For no apparent reason, my connection dropped. I'd assumed a problem after
I'd just updated the firmware on my Fritz!Box but no, the bloke in India

ADSL status and Tiscali TV
Thu, 22 May 2008 20:16:27 +0100
I'm giving serious consideration to Tiscali TV, despite reports of some
appalling experiences.
As background, I'm only interested in TV streamed over my ADSL connection -
I'm treating conventional DTV reception as if it isn't possible at all.
I've had a butchers at the status reported by my Billion 7560 and th ...

Sync Speed Problem
Thu, 22 May 2008 08:41:59 -0700 (PDT)
In the last few days I have been having a few problems with my
broadband. Last Saturday I got a huge amount of high pitched noise
over the phone line. I thought maybe the micro filters. I removed each
one and after removing one my modem synced at the normal rate. I
thought that was the end it was not. After failin ...

BT Homehub connects at lower rate than 585i
Thu, 22 May 2008 13:51:52 +0100
Hi
I have a BT Homehub and Speedtouch 585i - both seem to be same
manufacturer - Thompson. After a week or so, the Homehub connects at around
6000 but the Speedtouch at 8128. Is there something in the Homehub that
forces it to connect at a higher S/N margin (~12db) than the Speedtouch
(~6db), or is it just po ...
