As part of my modernisation plans, I have had my directory entries amended.

Why Can't I leave The phone Off-Hook Anymore?
Sat, 26 Apr 2008 05:18:33 +0100
I admit to living in the past, and being a bit of a technophobe, but time

Siemens Gigaset E455 - everything is so quiet...
Fri, 25 Apr 2008 16:39:21 +0100
I've just acquired one of these and, even with all volumes full up,
everything seems so quiet. Earpiece volume, ring volume, quietspeaker
volume etc. are all too low for me. Does anyone else have one of these and
the same problem? Or do you think it's possible mine is faulty?

service back do I have to have to go with BT or can I choose some
other carrier that offers local loop services? What are the
cost/contract implications for connection etc.?
