Rain has finally eased to a drizzle.
AWS daily total now stands at 40.9mm, event total 55.2mm (AWS).
Wind still S F3-4 and needless to say it is extremely wet everywhere and it
feels cold and raw despite a temperature of 11.9C.
Tempted to light a fire to cheer us all up but probably won't now.

Rain eased to a drizzle for a short time in past hour but is now coming down
hard again at 2-3mm/h.
AWS day total now 38.4mm giving an AWS event total of 52.7mm.
Wind has eased down to a F3-4 southerly.
I note another "arm" of rain coming into Cornwall/North Devon, it's not
looking good for the floodi ...

AWS reading today since midnight is now 35.1mm giving an AWS event total of
49.4mm since 1600 yesterday and ...
