Only 3 days without rain so far

Out of 21 days this month, we have had 18 days/nights where it has
rained at some time of day or night.
This rain has produced 100mm so far here in Leeds, where the average for
the whole month is 64mm.
Maybe better in September dya think? ...

Only 69.6 hours of sunshine up to and including today!
At this rate we will easily beat our record low of 90.2 hours set in
1978, the only August to record below 100 hours (1969-2008)
Since Saturday we've recorded a massive 3.9 hours of sunshine!

... if anyone sees this post now (1645Z/1745BST), there is a very
strong mock sun visible - best one I've seen for many a year.

Mid -Suffolk (No rainy Days for me for a while)

Last 7 days have produced no measureable rain at all in the 0900 to
1800 Z timescale.
Two wet 'nights' credited totals on 16th of 6.2 mm and 5.7mm on 17th .
No rain at all for last 3 days and so far today. Nothing at all last
night when a wet night was forecast. (and happened at Wattisham) I
know that shower ...

Davis WeatherLink on the Mac

I wonder if anyone here has experience of using Davis WeatherLink on the Mac.
I have at last upgraded an Intel iMac, and have been trying to transfer
my data. The problem is that the version supplied on the CD is WL 5.03,
but this version crashes horribly.
There is a downloadable bug fix update to 5.04, but ...
