Sat, 14 Jun 2008 00:45:25 +0100

Does anyone have any experience of using a GPINT with a PCMCIA parallel port
adapter for autoguiding? I'm trying this set-up and all I'm getting is

Any observation gratefully accepted.
Thanks.

Radio waves from Earth clear out space radiation belt - should we be
concerned
Mon, 9 Jun 2008 13:16:08 -0700 (PDT)
Radio transmitters on Earth cause charged particles to leak out of the
inner Van Allen radiation belt in space, new observations confirm.
Future satellite transmitters may take advantage of the effect, which
had been predicted theoretically, to help clear the belt of charged
particles from intense solar outburst ...

Can anyone tell me if there is a site somewhere which can give pass details,
similar to those on Heavens Above which seem only to be f ...

Giant telescopes could be built from Moon dust
Thu, 5 Jun 2008 12:43:18 -0700 (PDT)
Dust ? often thought of as an impediment to lunar exploration ? could
be put to good use to build giant telescopes on the Moon ? perhaps
some large enough to fill entire craters, says a team of US
researchers.
