Kings Norton Terminating Trains

Hi All
I notice that on the Birmingham Cross City Line this Sunday, trains
are terminating at Kings Norton and not the usual Redditch. According
to the live departures board, platform 3 is being used for teminating
and departing services but IIRC, this platform has no wires?! (Usually
323 operated.)
