Question re Live Rail fatalities

My trains (FCC) were totally FUBAR last night thanks to the overhead
power lines coming down.
It does seem to be a piss poor way to power a railway, this is always
happening, especially in winter when it gets a bit windy.
How many fatalities are there each year on parts of the network
powered by live rails as ...

Eurostar heading from Calais Ville

On Saturday, I was driving on the bridge over the railway yards which
are found to the south of the Eurotunnel terminal at Calais (I hope
that's clear where I mean!) and saw a Eurostar train heading from
Calais Ville towards the west.
Was this train lost, or was it one of the NoL Eurostars that usually

Platform access

Hello,
What are the rules with regards to platform access at stations? Can I
enter a platform at any time if I have a valid ticket for travel? Or
do I have to wait until I am "allowed"? I am thinking specifically of
St Pancras EMT services.
