Network Rail Timetable PDFs
Thu, 11 Sep 2008 17:50:15 +0100
Is it possible to find this humongous thing split into smaller timetables?
Perhaps one pdf for each route? My mobile phone will handle the smaller
files on tha site, but the 63 MB beast that is it gives a "Not enough
memory" error when I try to open it.

In a previous thread, the "Your Country Needs You" First World War
recruiting poster was mentioned as being iconic. Which, if any, railway
posters would you rate as "iconic", and why?

Saw a 'quadruple headed' rake of diesels possibly class 92's going south
through Northampton this morning. The middle 2 looked to be in brand new
livery, 1 shiney silver, the other, black. Any ideas as to what they were?
Cheers, Phil.

Now that we are being offered "Off-Peak" tickets, what has happened to
availability in the morning "Pre-peak"?
Most demand curves are something like a bell shape - they build up to
their Peak and then drop away again. Whilst the morning peak of demand
for train travel to London may build up quite quickly, I f ...

You really should show more sympathy for people whose lack of
intelligence and/or education means they cannot ever hope to rise
above the trite and simplistic. ;-)
