Top Gear - Bullet Train
Mon, 14 Jul 2008 06:08:32 -0700 (PDT)
Call me biased but I think the trains were the stars of the show last
night.
Very entertaining as ever, though ?we like to keep these things
(races) as close as possible? did amount to sending May and Hammond on

London with the train passengers ...

West Coast Ticket restrictions

Been having a look at options for a trip to London from West
Yorkshire.
Qjump tells me that a Business Saver Return is ¡ê124 from Huddersfield
to London and is valid either on Virgin into Euston or NatEx into
Kings Cross, with evening peak departures allowed from both.

Calder Valley this weekend

Does anyone know what was happening between Hebde3n Bridge and Halifax this
weekend?
Replacement buses were running from Hebden Bridge to Dewsbury and Halifax,
but the York=Blackpool service was running as normal.
The station staff said no work had been done anywhere so what was the point?
Makes you wonder ...

bustitute Sunday in parts of East Midlands once again.
Nottingham - Peterborough has been largely bus. But looking at Departure
Boards I was surprised to see a r ...

An article has appeared in the Keighley News about the derailment of
47760 at the recent 40th anniversary festival.

I have to agree that the railway responded quickly, calmly and
professionally to this accident, a ...
