well, no sign of the complience officer

2 weeks ago the compliance officer canceled his appointment for last monday,
not had a sodding new one made yet.
i am very seirousely suspecting the neigbours who live to the right of me
now, semi detatched bungalow, they are the ones attatched,
when we first moved in he greeted us, welcomed us to the street ...

new site I have started called UKBIX which is devoted to UK benefit issues,
its free, and looking for people to join and start discussions.
Its not a 'official' site in any way, its ran by untrained volunteers, but

Age addition question?

When calculating what benefits you are entitled to is the age addition also
included as income? I receive Incapacity Benefit of ¡ê89.80 + age addition
¡ê15.65. I have the social welfare lady coming next week to do a benefit
check as I should now also be entitled to Income support. I've done the
calculators and ...

i) a severe and enduring MH problem (DLA care component higher rate, DLA
mobility low rate, IB)
ii) Needs to go to distant hospitals many times
They've got all the receipts and tickets, which were given to their "care
co-ordinator" (MH key worker) to claim for.

Its occurred to me that certain precautions must be taken when writing to
the DWP and sending in appeals.
First off, send at least 3 seperate letters with copies of the appeal. An
acceptable period of time for them to receive your appeal by post is 7 days,

had the origional letter at the begining of june saying he'd be round on the
8th, which as i mentioned before we werent in to either get the letter or
meet the bloke,
after 3 phone calls i find out he will send another letter when he has time,
