I'm on DLA due to psychiatric problems and living in Hackney, London. I used to have a Freedom Pass but a few years ago they changed the system and stopped renewing it. I didn't feel up to dealing with it at the time. What is the current situation with Freedom Passes? Will I be able to get one? If they are jus ...

I have seen some job vanancies, which would allow me to work and make enough money to pay off my debts. Hoever the jobcentre told me that if I work for ...

Does the government allow any support for someone who is currently on income support but wishes to start a business? Rules about Housing Benefit (single persons under 25 classed as "severally disabled") (anthonyberet?)     Mon, 05 May 2008 21:17:27 +0100
I have a question about single people under 25 classed as "severally disabled" and receiving the rent for a one bedroom property as opposed to a shared rent. Am I right in thinking that the exception only applies in the following situation: Under 25 (naturally!) Receiving the middle or higher rate of DL ...
