Advice on water/flooding     Fri, 19 Sep 2008 10:40:14 -0700 (PDT)
Hi Am after some advice/help. Hopefully I'm in the right place, if not please accept my apologies. I have bought a house that was built in the mid 1930s and am in the middle of renovating it. It also backs onto a graveyard. When looking under the floor boards in the front room and kitchen I've noticed wh ...

Fitting loft hatch     Fri, 19 Sep 2008 08:14:38 -0700 (PDT)
My new home has a ply push up loft hatch that is supported by the architrave around the opening. It is always a pain to open. I saw those plastic prefabricated drop down ones in B&Q and elsewhere but the standard width required seems to be 56 cm. My joist to joist opening is a tantalising close 55 cm. How easy ...

Power Flushing machine     Fri, 19 Sep 2008 12:12:28 +0100
I am going to buy a power flushing unit. I will use it for my house that has 25 radiators over four floors. Which model is better? The Sentinel Jetflush 4 or the Kamco Clearflow CF90? I know how to use the Sentinel Jetflush 4, I don't know the Kamco but I assume it should be similarly operated. Than ...

Hi, I think I have seen plastic wedges you can buy to fit behind door frames to make them plumb. What are they called so that I might buy some? Thanks, Stephen. ...

Thumbs up on Aldi Jigsaw     Fri, 19 Sep 2008 13:16:32 GMT
Just got round to using it on cutting the Laminate, gives a nice straight cut and its blades are not too bad considering they were only ¡ê2.99 a pack 10. :-) ...
