Just used one, did a room in a morning and having coffee while it
cleans! this is great if you are a very amateur decorator who hates
painting. We also have a whole house to paint and was dreading it but
think this might make it bearable.

I will soon need to have my boiler replaced (21 years old) and one aspect of
the job that was worrying me (¡ê¡ê¡ê) was the thought of someone having to go
onto the roof to fit a flue plate and flue. I was expecting costs for
scaffolding.

Some hotels on the coast have sea water pools - how do they get the water to
fill them? - is it delivered by tanker - or do they run a pipe out to the
sea and use a pump - or is there a permanent pipe to the sea?

Hi all,
The recently widowed old Lady across the road rang earlier to ask for
a hand putting a door back on (she'd painted it).
Before I could get over there she rang again to say she's was sorted
because a JW had knocked on the door and she got them to do it! ;-)

Earth Bonding?

Just curious.
Saw an installation (wash hand basin) where the copper pipes came out of the
wall into plastic push fit elbows, then a short run of copper, then plastic
push fit tap connectors.
The earth bonding cables were connected to the copper pipes between the
plastic elbow & plastic tap connector.

Compression Elbows

Bought some 15mm compression elbows from my local plumbing bits supplier.
Normally buy from Wickes as they are much cheaper.
I've found them much harder to do up, they seem to take a lot more force to
achieve a leak free joint and they 'squeak' as you do them up.
My normal practice is to hold the elbow with ...
