Dear all,
I am involved with a charity which does horse riding for disabled adults
and children. They have around 15 horses and ponies which generates a
fair amount of dirty rugs, saddle cloths etc. Currently these are washed
in a domestic washing machine which outputs to a septic tank. The septic
tanks als ...

Bought one of these 2 months ago, seemed an ideal tool bag for what I do.
Not especially cheap.

New CU and EDF + Part P
Fri, 18 Jul 2008 20:43:38 +0100
Hi,
The House renovation plans progress... I've been examining possibilities for
siting the new CU I'll be installing (which will be BNA'd along with 6
million other notifiable small works). Been busy reading up on the 17th and
testing procedures in readiness.
Part of this may involve asking EDF to install a ...

I want to put an outside tap round the side of the house so I can wash down
when the dogs have been out there.
I have a downstair loo with a sink on an outside wall and I can tap into the
pipes and run them through the wall, then put a tap and hose on. Thing is, I
would prefer the water to be hot as I could als ...

waterproofing timber formwork for complicated concrete shape
Fri, 18 Jul 2008 11:02:15 -0700 (PDT)
I'm making some ornamental exposed aggregate concrete blocks to match
those in our 80 year old garden wall.
I'm very pleased with my wooden mould - designed to make 10 blocks at
once.
So that it doesn't get wrecked by the water and concrete, and remains
reusable, I've varnished it with polyurethene, and lined it ...

around 4m x 2m. The wood is pitch pine and laid in a herring bone
pattern.
The surface of the wood is clean (newly sawn) and there are some
planks which "dip" around 1mm so the entire floor will need sanding
down by at least this amount.

Something trivial
Fri, 18 Jul 2008 11:02:34 GMT
I've had to make a trek to the local DIY shop just to purchase a metre of
earth sleeving which I only want 4" of.
So why don't the cable manufactures implement a green sheething on the earth
conductor of electrical cable ie 1.5,2.5 and 6mm cable?
