Inveralmond Ossian Ale 4.1%
Thu, 29 Jan 2009 23:24:52 -0800 (PST)
I was glad to see this one back. I might have had it at the GBBF.
Russell or Carol at the WLM brought it in for Burns' Night. Russell
said that it had taken them a while to get round to because of the
demand for GK IPA.
It did not taste absolutely 100% fresh; I suppose it has travelled 700
miles... ...

Butcombe Brunel 200 IPA 5%
Tue, 27 Jan 2009 22:25:27 -0800 (PST)
A strong Summer Lightning-style beer. I like the name Butcombe because
if you are too drunk to speak you can easily mime it. The Spoons at
Tooting was packed out. Has everyone's giro turned up a day late?
Went round to Mitcham just in time to see Little John The Submariner
being refused service (by Russell) beca ...

Snowy
Sun, 25 Jan 2009 13:02:44 -0800 (PST)
Drinking Snowy today. It had a picture of an owl on the ovular
barpumpsign. The picture was pretty dark, and it described itself as a
winter ale, so I thought it was gonna be quite dark, especially as it
was 5%.
But it was pretty light. I prefer the light ones, the straw-coloured
ones. I wanted to drink the Bitte ...
