out that it is Keighley Beer Festival this weekend
at the Victoria Hall, Keighley - about half a mile north of Keighley Railway
Station

Taking GBG, but are there any pubs in these cities that I shouldn't
miss?
Need to be easy to get to be foot or public transport from main train
stations.

local BBC Radio Merseyside has just reminded me that Southport's CAMRA-
run Sandgrounder Beer Fest starts today - I've never been, I'm afraid,
but my Dad's enjoyed it the past few years.

Price of beer in pubs

The current price in Bath is around 2.70
Does anybody have any figures for 20-30-40 years ago which
inflation-adjusted could give some credence to the idea in the
newpapers that beer (real ale that is, not supermarket stuff or
town centre drinking places for students etc) is cheaper now in
the pubs than it has ...
