Disgusted! Tonbridge Wells.
Thu, 22 Oct 2009 09:10:44 -0700 (PDT)
Have just read a ?Disgusted!! Tonbridge Wells? readers letter in this
months issue of Waterways World and wonder with a grunt of despair if
it is only me who is somewhat out of sync with the aspirations and
expectations of what seems to be a new breed of boater coming on to
these waterways, often with a new boat ...

Waterways World - Complete Run
Mon, 19 Oct 2009 10:46:45 +0100
When I moved house four years ago I bound up my old copies of
Waterways World into bundles with string.
Over four years later they have not been touched.
They can all be recycled, or alternatively, if someone is
interested, can be collected from South Lincolnshire.
It is a complete run from the first issue ...

Exposing the UK canals and history to the world - a suprising result
Sat, 17 Oct 2009 13:44:35 -0700 (PDT)
On the 21st July I launched a video on YouTube called "System in

etc, but that so many people like the production but it has literally
spread worldwide. Being able through the " ...

Fri, 16 Oct 2009 21:19:25 +0100
The following quotation from a report presented to the recent PLA Harbour
Master's Recreational Navigation Group meeting needs to be brought to the
attention of ALL narrow boaters.
I personally am very alarmed at the cavalier attitude evidently taken by the
minority who have cause this.
Please, everybody, ...

Surveys - cost etc. and how to arrange one in France
Thu, 15 Oct 2009 12:16:43 +0000 (UTC)
Can anyone give me an idea how much a boat survey (of a largish
ex-hire boat) in France is likely to cost and how I might go about
arranging it.
I can speak reasonable French so actually calling a company and asking
them is fine but I need to get some idea of what sort of business I'm
looking for to ask, etc.
