last minute pub info plz

Going south next week from rugby then through braunston and up Leicester
section of GU to market harborough.
Trouble is I know from meeting someone on the caldon 2 weeks ago that a lot
of pubs in the guides aren't open anymore due to recession.
To save me planning moorings and cruise timings to get to closed pub ...

Hi folks
Does anyone know whether there is a pub on the above canal? Bike
exercise( avoiding fishermen of course) followed by pub visit is on
the cards. I thought there was one nearer Bridgewater but this is from
(a poor) memory

Autherley, when my wife's wild gesticulations indicated that something
was amiss. Sure enough, the gearbox was making a terrible noise when
