What camcorder should we buy for "pretty good" quality video - for
hosting on a website?

Any advice on roughly how much money we'd need to spend to get "good
quality" video results that we could post on the web? (Sorry I am a
total newbie at video...)

Hi
I have acquired a Samsung Sports Camcorder (model: VP-X220L)
and need to attach an external microphone to it.
Unfortunately it is a model which is 2 or 3 years old now but it was
'top-of-the-range' at the time - (it even has 2GB of internal memory!)
Samsung's website don't mention any accessories at all ...

I would like to make my own "Real Life Videos" for Tacx indoor cycling
trainers (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmQ3NXw9-BE). This involves
filming the road ahead from a car (or motorcycle) as you drive (usually up a

Have you ever heard about some device that could be used to copy the DV
tapes to the computer? I used Canon GL2 to create many tapes. Some of them
are already permanently located on my RAID array, but this is a huge amount
