Hello, I have a copy of VLC which I want to use to convert MovieMaker AVIs into H.264 and Theora files, but, VLC wont read the MM AVIs. Does anyone know why? My trusty Sony VX9000 camera has decided to stop recording sound. Checking the tapes on a deck shows no sign of the 'carrier', in 16bit or 12bit. Has anyone else had this problem, and corrected it?
