Inner cicle and public domain

I have wanted to join Sub Brit but have been put off due to being told
there is an inner circle who share info between themselves and say
they can't tell you anything because it's not in the public domain, I
say how can this be when some of them are not supposed to be aware of
the info been told by a friend?

Guardian Tunnel

Not sure where the refurbishment of the Guardian tunnel in Manchester is up
to but I was in Salford today and the surface ventilator building at the
western end of the tunnel has been demolished and the hole capped.

Underground museum

Someone on another site I frequent is asking about an underground
museum in North Wales that he used to go to as a kid. Apparently it
used to be used as storage for the bouncing bomb and had a LRDG chevvy
there. Another poster said it was closed down years ago.
Does this ring any bells ?

Scotland Street tunnel

I have added a feature on the Scotland Street tunnel in Edinburgh to
the Sub Brit web site. It had a secondary use as an emergency railway
control centre during WW2. I hope it's of interest.
