Doing a bit of research on the former Rotor bunker RAF Skendleby.
Silly question, this place would have had those giant "Golf ball" radar
receptors wouldn't they?
Does anyone know where these were placed in relation to the bunker?
Reason I ask is I seem to recall, many years ago, seeing some of these giant ...

OT - Paul Tibbets Dies

Paul Tibbets, one of only two men to pilot a plane that dropped a
nuclear bomb in anger has died. I guess he contributed to the
development of the Cold War and the subsequent interest of people here
in a small way.
