Does anyone know the current status of this structure? A look at the
current Gogle Earth image, (dated 2006), shows a large amount of
reconstruction to and around, the building. The footprint of the main
structure seems to be the same, so I was wondering whether it had been
converted in some way.

Old sirens

What is the easiest way to find out where the local old UKWMO sirens
are in ones town? I pass a strange (road light type) pole with nothing
on and wonder whether its an old one.

Vehicle bunker

I've heard that there was a "nuclear bunker" somewhere in the new
forest where emergency service vehicles (i.e. the firebrigade and
ambulance) would have gone during a nuclear war. I'm not sure if its
part of a bigger network but wondered if anybody had heard anything
similar?
