I just got back from a week diving on Sark with Sark Diving Services
http://www.sarkci.com/ - as far as Sark goes they're it. Well, he's it,
since it's basically Andy, a hugely experienced local pro, and his (hard)
boat Starfish of Sark. He knows the place (and its bizarre currents)
backwards, and offers tanks ...

OK so I've been back from the Red Sea a couple of weeks and now I am
beginning to dry out.
So what's the temp like for real. I've looked at a website that says
9deg. I'm trying to get my wife to buddy me and she dives in a wet suit.
And what is the vis like? When I was there October last year it was
close ...

I put my torch (labelled with my name and phone mumber inside and out)
down five yards off the slip during deco stop on Sun. Swam to slip,
realised and swam back- GONE! Not handed in or back to me a week later.
I bet whoever wouldn't of dreamed of picking it up from behind my car,
but in the water- "fair game ...

I got back from diving in the southern Egyptian Red Sea last week. A
place called Zabargad near Hamata.
On one reef, Sha'ab Sakara, while the others were raving about the
dolphins diving with them I was pointing at a Yellow Plastic Duck.
It was one of the famous 'The First Years' toys.
