Andaman Sea, beginning of November?     Sat, 06 Oct 2007 06:11:05 -0700
Hello, I'm thinking about taking a diving trip to Thailand's Similan Islands at the beginning of November. Some sources say the monsoon season's over by then; some dive shops have said that at that exact time it's day-today as to what the weather will be like then. As I have to book my flight & reserve my spot ...

Flying with Regs     Thu, 04 Oct 2007 13:07:15 -0700
All, We have a full set of Scubapro regs with guages. Do we need to take the guages off the regs and store them as hand luggage, or will they be ok in the general bage store??? I just figured, as they are sensative to pressure, the hold may cause problems. What do others do? John. ...

Cheers Mark ...

Decompression     Wed, 26 Sep 2007 18:07:50 +0100
Yo Long time ago someone told me he had to come up in a hurry becaouse of running low on air and was given a new tank and sent straight down again to finish his decompression. This would have been 30 odd years ago. Would this have ever been the thinking? Would it be valid in an emergancy? Cheers BB ...

Dive Cameras     Mon, 24 Sep 2007 05:33:58 -0700
Hi All, Does anybody use any budget underwater/dive cameras that they can recommend. I am looking to spend around ¡ê130 (USD$260), looking for something that can take depths of 13-18m, and is not too bulky. I have seen some good things said about the Vivitar 5188, but all the reviews all above surface, and w ...

Solo diving     Wed, 19 Sep 2007 07:04:11 -0700

By fare and away most id not all of my diving has been doe with a budd ...
