Kyosho Optima Help Wanted

Can anyone help?
I've just moved and while doing so I found my old Kyosho Optima, great
I thought time to kick my god sons modern 'toy' buggy to kingdom come!
then I noticed a problem, the red plastic adjustment rings on all but
one of the shocks were broken, can they be replaced or dose it mean a
whole new set ...

speed controller ot

Can anyone help with this. I have a speed controller from my sons model
car that I would like to use but manually controlled instead of using the
radio equip. The reason is to use it on the power feed of my mini mill. Is
there a simple way to do this?

Just got my first nitrofuel driven off road car called a conquistador.
Never had ne before so read the limited instructions carefully. What I
gathere I had to do was some checks of the engine then run it in.

I've just bought my first nitro model, and would welcome advise on a
number of topics. To start the ball rolling, what are the best strength
of battery to by for the handset. I've seen AA 2500mAh to 2900mAh and
the prices range from ¡ê3 to ¡ê4.50 for 4. Is it money well spent to by
the 2900mAh? or am I better bayi ...

My 17 year old son has developed an interest in RC cars and I see it as a
way of getting him off his computer!
Neither he or I have any experience of RC cars but I have built RC aircraft
in the past and am becoming rather interested myself, a joint project.
Building from kit is essential, that is half the fun ...

I have a question i am just getting to this hobby, i have a question.
Can any transmitter be used with a Tamiya car if the frequancy is
correct? IE can you a HPI transmitter with a Tamiya etc?
