UK equivalent for Bondo ?

Hi,
I keep reading about a kind of filler called Bondo which people in the colonies
use for filling and finishing model planes. I've not ever seen this in the UK
and I wondered if anyone here knows exactly what it is and where I can get a UK
equivalent ?

I'm based in Glasgow City and have transportation.

I have seen loads of Futaba Skysport 6's on Ebay recently.
Why are so many people selling these transmitters, is there something
wrong with them?
Or is this a decent transmitter to start out with in the hobby?

Am thinking about getting an electric trainer such as Multiplex
Magister.
Is it possible to re-charge the Li-Polymer cells in the field using an
SLA or car battery?
