Hi All
I'd be grateful for some ideas on my latest possible project.
I've been asked at my sailing club whether it would be possible to have
a winch to pull boats up the slipway. The boats in question are patrol
boats with outboard motors and probably weigh about 500 pounds. The

Harrison M400 clutch problems.

We (at work) have a Harrison M400 of about 1978 vintage, the plates in
the clutch pack are worn, Harrison said at first that they had them in
stock but once our buyer got round to placing the order for them they
changed their tune and said the clutch was obsolete.

Source for Torx plus drivers?

I've hunted high and low for a Torx Plus 50 driver bit that I will need for
a job on my car but I just can't find one in the UK, I have found them in
the US but none of the vendors will ship outside of America; anyone have any
suggestions where to look (or have one they'd be willing to sell / lend)?

SILVERDRIVE phase converters

I'm doing a bit of a write up for another forum (woodworking) comparing
methods of running 3 phase machines from single phase supplies.

Motor and Blacking results

The Carrs blacking worked well on the parts for the pinion mill, even
and a good satin black. I now need a motor to run it circa 1400 rpm
and 100watts+ but not too big, any one got one under their bench and
live in East Yorkshire? ...
