Fisher 1220X
Wed, 18 Jan 2006 17:15:01 GMT
Hi all,
Am a newbie to all this!
Have been given an old Fisher 1220X detector but it has no battery packs,
only 2 PP3 type leads. The instructions say it take two sets of 4 AA's (8)
Can anyone tell me the voltage of each pack, is it 3V or 6V ? I can then
make up or buy suitable holders.
Thanks,
Oz

Hi!
Has anyone used the Sherlock DTS Pinpoint probe. It is quite cheap and
I don't know if it is worth anything. Thanks for any suggestions about
reasonably priced probes.

ground then lowering it to near ground and adjusting phase knob if sound
increases or decrea ...

Sat, 31 Dec 2005 12:21:31 +0000
My father works on a farm that is owned by Hertfordshire County
Council. I had an agreement with the farm manager (my father's boss)
regarding metal detecting on the farmland - he would advise which
fields I could and couldn't use.
I have now been told that as the farm is actually owned by the
council, the fa ...
