Hi all, Am a newbie to all this! Have been given an old Fisher 1220X detector but it has no battery packs, only 2 PP3 type leads. The instructions say it take two sets of 4 AA's (8) Can anyone tell me the voltage of each pack, is it 3V or 6V ? I can then make up or buy suitable holders. Thanks, Oz ...
